This is a very sad day for me. After waiting many months in anticipation. Scott (TV Bikes) and I put a lot of careful time in with building up this bike. The bike weighed a measly 21 pounds.Unfortunately the last week it has been raining, until yesterday afternoon. So I took it out to the parking lot at a park nearby.
All was great until I got out of the saddle and pedaled. That is when I heard the sound that broke my heart.... At this point we believe that the frame is defected.Scott and I took a brief video to show the good folks at Trek/Fisher. We assume that they will take good care of me. However still very sad for me!

A Great Idea on Two Wheels..... Always!
I came across this video from a member of the Smoky Mountain Wheelmen. They are trying to get an event like this to happen in Knoxville. A great example of creating a positive cycling experience for a larger audience.
I believe this would get the recreational rider out more. Especially for this group of cyclists, getting the bike "ready" to take into the urban jungle, this idea puts their mind at ease.
Of course these are the people that we need to join our support for the thought of a more bicycle friendly area.
Let me know your thoughts.... http://www.sacbike.org/sacbiking/parking/Valetpkg.htm

Boulder Descent at Raccoon Mtn
This is my buddy Ron tackling the one of the many technical boulders at Raccoon Mtn. in Chattanooga this past weekend.
By far, this is some of the best "FLOWING" trails that are around.
Already looking forward to going back.
