NC Mtb Weekend

Nicole and I went on a two day mtb trip.

Left early saturday, came home late on Sunday, good times...

Nicole and I went to Dupont on Saturday, some good climbs, plus some great scenery.

Spent sometime in Asheville, nice little city.

Sunday the whole gang met at Tsali and we had about 10 people on the trails.

It was a little epic day with about 25 miles, seemed like a lot uphill???

Then of course we finished the night with mexican, no beer though... dry county.. bummer..

Pic from one of my first weekend trips. This was at Racoon mtn. in Chattanooga. Very nice flow to the trails. Some unique trails like the trail that feels like you are draining in a funnel....

I have now been in TN for 3 months.
Good and different about living down here.
Mtn biking is very nice, however wish it was closer
Some parts of the city are very trendy, while others are simply dirty, or as some people say: OLD. Lots of homeless people roaming around. Harmless, but still different.

Nicole and I are searching for the ideal place to call home yet. It is definetely not in the old city.
We thought that would be our "scene" however we found out quickly it is not for us.
Next weekend we will find our second home down here.
